I'm a dedicated dog mom to four awesome dogs. Gianna a doberman, Buddha a pit bull, Cagney a black labrador and Ferris Wheeler a terrier in a wheelchair.
I started out my passion of working with dogs in the veterinary field as a technician and did that for more than 13 years. I have experience in both shelter medicine and private practice.
I founded a rescue, Deserving Dogs Rescue & Rehabilitation which I ran for 3 years and adopted out and fostered more than 350 dogs. Most of the dogs I took on had either medical or behavioral issues so I was able to learn a lot from them.
I am a graduate of Cesar Millan's Training Cesar's Way Fundamentals 1 and now am a volunteer during the seminars. I have attended Linn Boyke's School of Dog Psychology workshop as well as Cheri Lucas and Brian Agnew's Missing Link seminar.
I believe in leading with energy and not force so I strive to maintain a calm and balanced energy on a daily basis for the dogs.
Hi! Noah Urbina here. I spent 12 years in retail work before making the jump to a much more satisfying life of working with dogs. I spent the last four years working for The Pet Whisperers in San Diego specializing in large pack walks, cage-free boarding, as well as rehabilitating extremely challenging behavioral cases so that those dogs could live a balanced and fulfilled life.
I first met Angela years ago through the ever-supportive social media dog community, and we always pushed and motivated each other to be better, learn more, and come up with ways to leave the dog world better than we found it. I am so grateful to be a part of The Mutt Mentor, and look forward to positively affecting more dog and human lives.
